The Federal Public Service Commission recruited probationers for the State Railways Electrical Engineering Department in 1943-1944. 1. Agreed that the clauses pertaining to the transfer of probationers hired in 1944 and later to the Electric Engineering Department should be suspended for the time being. However, in any event where a Railway Administration deems it desirable to send an Electric Engineer overseas for training in any particular sort of work, the Railway Board will be willing to assess the application on its merits. 2.
