A primary school is proposed to be established in the Integral Coach Factory. The following actions have been sanctioned: (i) designating a block of residential buildings for use as an elementary school temporarily, with the buildings serving as a Committee of Management elected by the colonys residents; (ii) allocating Rs. 3, 500/-to be used for the provision of first equipment to meet its initial Rs. 100/-, with the amount limited to the difference between the schools monthly income and expenses during the first year; and (iv) paying Rs. 40/-per month as a permanent grant starting in the second year
