(1) Sanction as a very special case, to the payment of a sum of Rs. 1, 866-12-0 to certain establishments (Sub-Assistant Surgeons lent to Native States, or employed with Imperial Service Troops, or on the Native States Reserve List, and members of the Chief Medical Officer's office establishment) as bonuses in connection with the grant of half a month's pay as a coronation boon to certain Government servants. (2) Expression of the surprise and displeasure of the Government of India at the disregard of the orders on the subject shown by the Chief Medical Officer in authorising the payment of the bonuses in question
