With reference to this Office endorsement, No. 105, dated 12th instant, sanctions on the condition stated, the application of the Political Assistant at Nagode for mileage at 8annas, and halting allowance at Rupees 5perdiem for visiting the Maharajah of Rewah on two occasions, as also the recomnmednations that, as a rule, when the Assistants, to the Agent, Governor General, Central India, are required to travel by dak, they may be permitted to draw mileage and halting allowances at the same rates for the period of detention at the station to which they may have proceeded
