From 1.4.1950, the method for inter-railway transfer transactions on Indian State Railways was implemented. Decision- Effective 1.4.50, all transactions, including those with other state departments, shall be made on a cash basis (in accordance with m.o. Finance memo. No. 3167 Bill/50 dated 17.3.50) and all inter-railway transactions should be adjusted using transfer certificates
