Booking of Inland freight a stores purchase for stock in stores Depot and on issue for use on works- Uniformity Decided that freight charges on stores stock in a depot need not be added to the cost of store in respect of items indicated in para 2161-3 but should be in all case be booked to G. 3101by credit to G.3400 (66-AC.II/46/4/ of 26.4.67)- 2. That solong the cost of stores are held under stores suspense the extant instruction in Bd. s letter of 26.4.67 will be followed not with standing that the cost of the such store will be ultimately be charged to a particular work on WMS (68AC.II46/4 of 3.8.68). 3. That the freight charges on store moved under RMC Notes should be debited to G.3101 by vredit to G. 3400 but in case of stores moved on credit Notes, the freight charges should be debited to G. 3101 by credit to earnings.
