In addition, from 1 July 1916 to 1 May 1917, the British Agent in Kabul may draw as close to what he would have received if the orders had taken effect on the 1st July 1916 as possible. This concession allows him to draw the equivalent of half of his pay in Kabuli rupees at the rate of one British Indian=two Kabuli rupees.
