Amendment of rule 2(b) of the rules of 6th October 1879, issued under section.77 of the N.W.P.& Oudh Village Cantt. Act, 1892(III of 1892), regarding the relaxation of the restriction of the area of a village munsifs jurisdiction. Held that where rules are to be made after ``previous publication`` and subject to the approval of the Governor General in Council, such approval should not be given till previous publication has taken place.
