Rejection of the proposal to the Government of Bombay that section 464(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure should be amended so as to permit of the certificate of a medical officer that an accused person is of unsound mind and incapable of making his own defence being received in evidence without the officer appearing and giving evidence in court.
