It is observed that the subject reported on is not yet ripe for decision. It is asserted by the Travancoreans that the Kenkanies of Cochin, when delivering up the several images they abstracted from the Alippy Shrine, and the return of which was absolutely insisted o n by the Govt. as a preliminary to any enquiry into the claims preferred by them as the rightful proprietors there of have retained the principal Bimbom, substituting a fictitious one in its place.
