The mowajibs that Ali Akbar and Sanwar Khan's respective father and grand father enjoyed were carried on to them in Upper Kurram. Ali Akbar passed away and Muhammad Ismail, his paternal uncle, continued to receive his mowajib. Up to the settlement's conclusion, sanctions to the Mowajibs in Kurram were still being paid in Afghani rupees.
