With effect from October 12, 1928, Khan Sahib Mirza Ali, the first interpreter at the British Residency in Bushire, was given a four-month leave of absence, and Khan Bahadur Mohd. Ali Soofi was officially appointed in his place. With effect from February 12, 1929, Khan Sahib Mirza Ali was appointed to the position of second interpreter at the British Residency in Bushire.
