In reply to orders no. 34 dt. the 22nd Inst. states that no provision was made in the Budget grants of 1861/62 for the allowance of Rs. 50 per mensem granted to Cheeboo Lama Vakeel of the Sikkim Raja nor are there any savings by which this expenditure can be met- Requests, therefore, that a special grant may be sancioned for this purpose.
