Appointment of Geacha as agent to the Bhutan Government at Buxa. Recognizes the appointment of Geacha as Agent to the Bhutan Government at Buxa in the place of Fentook, deceased. If it is intended that Geacha should be the channel for payment of the annual allowance of Rs. 50,000 under the Treaty of November 1865 with Bhutan, enquires whether the new Agent is of the rank of Jungpen, as required by article IV of the Treaty.
