With reference to Mily. Deptt. letter no. 6 of the 1st August last regarding a reference from the Madras Govt. respecting the payment of a Country or Gratuity to European Soldiers after the Completion of 12 years service, transmits copy of the officiating Judge Advocate General's report on the subject.
