With refrence to mily Department letter no 254 of 10th Ultimo states that the Lt. Governor is of opnion that there is no objection to deferrign for the present the proposed arrangements for transferrings Commander Berne from the garison Engineer office to that of the town major and adds that no order regardings the conductor transfer have been issued by the Bengal Govt O.P to be returned.
