Submits for consideration a Communication from the Quarter Master General of the army requesting that the issue of the bedding to the 60th Royal Rifiles, One on the 1st October be postponed until its arrival at Meerut pending the sanction of Govt. Major Ramsay observes that if the indulgence be sanctioned it will form a most inconvenient precedent as it will be caimed by other Regiments in the service.
