Intimating that the asstt. Conferred on lt. D M Probyn to be adjt. of the 2nd Punjab Cavy. will not give him any right to half staff allowance from the 15th Augt. 1853 to the 31st October following during which time he was on leave of absnece and being only offg. as adjt. was not entitled to any portion of the allowances to while away from his corpts.
