In reply to mily. dept leter no. 646 of 19th May 1854 submit two returns oe shewing the number of Such soldiers sent in ech of th elast 6 montsh from Pegu to Calcutta distengusting European and natives and Bengal and Madras soldiers and the otehr shewing the number and strength of parties of sick sent or porposed to be sent from Rangoon to Madras in last 6 months.
