In reply to Military Deptt. despatch, No. 762, dated 27th Ultimo, states that Cloak Straps have not hitterto been furnished to Corps by Govt. in Bengal, that Cloak straps are , as Knapsacks & their straps formerly were, considered as Half Mountings, & are provided by the Men themselves.
