Reports that as men are ocasionally allowed to come up to Calcutta on private leave from Europe Regiment serving in Burmah, and as applications for Return Passage are made to him, solicits the orders of Govt. as to whether or not, he should provide passage without special reference to Govt. for men so circumstanced, and also, if rations should be allowed to them on the passage.
