With refrence to mily Department letter no 183 of the 7th Instant, states that frevously to its receipts arrangements had been made, in verbal communications with the superintendent of marine, to embark 750 persons belonging to the 47th Native Infantry on the sesostris and Zenobia and that in communications with their commander saturdays morming the 11th Instant.
