In reply to Military Deptt. Despatch No. 1051, of 30th November last, submits Original letter with certificate, under the joint signatures of the Commanding officer and Adjutant of the 42nd Native Infantry in support of the full extent of the loss of property by fire sustained by the Men of the Corps for which Compensation is claimed.
