In drawing attention to the circular letter from the war office no 1077dated 24th feby last recommends that no higher rate of stopage is to be paid by soldiers in hospital when serving with an army int he field than 3 half penny a day in accordance with art 7 page 8 of the Royal warrant of 1st july 1848.
