Forwardings copy of a letter addressed from this deaprtement to the Brigadier General commanding the Pegn Division the 217 of this date regardings the detachments at favvy and mergin requesting that the requests order may be issued regardings the raising of such number of police as man be necessary with view to expediting the reduction of the mily detachments.
