Committee - Appointed to report on the merit of the Plans etc of a Steam Tug Submitted to Government under the advertisemet of 4th August last. State that of the four plans as competing fro the 1st reward they are inclined to give their preference to the design of Mr. Cowles. but not without some alteration . With regard to the premium offered in the 3rd Para Mr. Mc Neight appears to be the only Gentleman who has in any way Complied with the terms prescribed.
