To Chief Secretary - Acknowledging the foregoing and conveying the observation of this Government on points calling for remarks and under the strong recommendation of the Government of Madras sanctions the immediate grant of 300 Rs. a month as proposed to the Friend in need society subject to the confirmation of the Right Honble the Sectetary of State for India, requests to be furnished with a statement of all the grants at present made from the Public Revenues to Charitable Institutions at Madras.
