To Secretary - In reply to Letters dated 21st August last and 2nd Ultimo states that the provisions regarding the proportion of tonnage to each emigrant conturned in Act XV of 1842 has not been affected by Secretary 3 Act IV 1852 and points out what the duty of the Emigration officers whould be with respect to the space to be allotted to each Emigrant on board Emigraut Vessels.
