In the absence of any provision for giving effect ot the Laws and # passed by the Legislative Council as appresent constituted resolves that the Secretary in the Home Department lay a copy of the act before the Governor General in Council with a note suggesting the instructions necessary to issue for giving speedy & uniform effect to the intentions of the Legislative & the Governor General in Council will ther# pass such orders as may seem expedient.
