Notification - The G. G. in C. having reason to beliene that in Mauritius to which colony the Emigration of Natives of India is allowed proper measures have not been taken for the protection of such Emigrants immediately on their arrival in the said colony it is here- declared that the Emigration of Natives of India to the said Colony of Mauritius shall ceasue and be prohibited from this day.
