To College Council - Conveying the resolution of Government to discontinue the Professorships together with the situations of the Moonshees and Pundits attached to those Offices respectively, and to confine the Establishment to a Secretary and two Examiners with the requisite number of Pundits and Moonshees, under the Secretary for the instruction of the Student. Their opinion required as to whether the Gentlemen holding the Professorships to have the option tendered to them of continuing Examiners and to dispense with the Services of the Juniors retaining for the Examinerships the oldest Servants, on the allowances attached to them.
