Secretary - As the question touching the transmission to England as frieght of the accompaniments to duplicate Despatches to the Court of Directors has been disposed of submits certain particulars for the faverable consideration of this Government relative to the saving that has been effected in that Presidency consequent on the charge of plan alluded to and recommends that in consideration of his additional labor 20 Rs. per month and a gratuity of 1000 Rs. be allowed to Mr. M. Surgeon a Clerk in the seperate Department at whose suggestion the new plan was adopted.
