Telegram from the Deputy Superintendent Elce - Telegraphs in Bengal from Therghotty in that Lieut. Stannton with the seikh corps leached Burhee before he left No Mail between therghotty & Benarissmce the 6th that there is a report that about 2 regiments of N. I. have been setting fire to places at sasseram & that the live thereabouts has been cat in several places that the Grand Trunk Road has been deserted by the Police between Mnddimpore & Benares & that the Mutineers who destroyed sasseram are marching towards Mirzapore.
