Dawk Company - In reply to letter of the 17th Ultimo states that after consulting with the manager of the Island transit company he thinks he will be able to arrange for the despatch of not less than 14 carriages daily lwhich are partly to the propelled by hearers & coolies & partly to be drawn by learses that the for now will carry 4 & the latter 3 men a piece & that the cast of such carriage ot Benares will be Rs. 200 including return hire desires durly instus.
