To Secretary - Conveying the resotution of Government for encreasing the Salary of the Private Secreary to the Governor of Madras to 1500 Rupees per Mensem and the Militayr Secretary to 1000 Rs. per mensem, in both cases to be consolidated allowances. to meet this additional expencse an equal reduction is to be made int he authorized expenditire of the Governor on account of Estabilshment contingences etc.
