To Secretary - In reply approves of an offer being made to the Rajah of Boad of a life pension of Rs. 1200 per annum for himself and annual allowances not exceeding Rs. 600 in the same term as to his brother and the other member of his family on condition of his giving up his Raj to the British Government but should the Rajah not come to terms with the Commissioner at the expected conference it will not be advisable to attack the Killah and take the estate under Government management on account of the Rajah . The Rajah Pillah should be made over to the Madras Government to be sent to Vellore and kept under surveillance.
