To Officiating Secretary to Lieutt. Governor- In reply Stating that the Furlough rules cannot be Extended to the case of cessation of official employment with residences in India, but suggesting that pending a reference to England Mr. Mackenzie should obtain leave to reside at Simla as a Civil Servant out of Employ which will leave his Serviecs at the disposal of Goverment if they should be required.
