To Acting Secretary - Stating inreply that Surgeon Tawse receives a higher allowance than it would be granted to a Garrison Surgeon in Bengal for similarly performing the duties of a Civil Station , and requesting for the reasons stated, that the allowances of the Surgeons of Poona and Ahmednugur may be specially considered with a view to their being brought on an equality with Medical Officers at other Stations of the Bombay Presidency.
