In continuation of No.577T, dated 18th May last, forwards, with remarks, copy a letter from the Officiating Principal Inspector General, Medical Deptt, submitting a protest from the Ladies` Committee of the Calcutta Nurses` Institution against placing the Nurses under the control of the authorities of the Medical College Hospital, and States that there is no reason why the advice and influence of the Ladies, Committee cannot be combined with the control and authority of the Medical Department.
