To Walter Elver Esquire - In reply to his letter of the 14th. December last. States that Government is pleased to accept of his Offer to Superintend the Dawk in the Western Provinces under the Control of the Board of Revenue and Post Master General. The Several Deputy Post Masters in those Provinces will be directed to Correspond with him and Secretary his instructions on all subjects connected with the Post Office Department.
