Mr. I. Macalister Member of Council adverts to certain mnutes recorded by that Government on the receipt of the communication communicatin conveying the censure passed upon his conduct by the government General in council states reasons for having called upon Mr. Phillps ot substanctiate the information communicated by him on which that censure war founded and trust that a Perusal of themunytes will acquithim of the charge of having headed any combination of the nature ascribed to thim and impress this government with a convictin of his innocence on that thead.
