Mr.C.A. Thimposn States that he was appointed a writer on the Madras Establishment in 1813 arrived here onthe 16th December last for the Purpose of setlling his private affairs reasons for not reporting himself earlier & tensts that his residence in the Country well be reckoned from the period of his arrival also solicits admission into the College.
