Captain Mr. Carthy - States that he was Employed on a Survey of the Coast of Chittagon in the Year 1799 as an Assistant to Mr. upyohn - That on the Decease of Mr. Upjshn in Feburary 1801 he was called from Chittagong, to make an Accurated Survey of the Houghly from Tolleys Nullah to Chitpore which he complited in March following wher his allownces were discontined, the Season being too for advaned to resume the survey at Chittagoing- That he was compelled to sek a Subsistance by Going to Sea - That another Person was Employed in his absence to Complete the Survey at Chittagong - Solicits Employment.
