Letter from Major F. R. Macdonald Superintendent of Prince of Wales Island giving and account of his tour round the Island stating how he disposed of the opium in his possession pointing oujt his financial difficulties recommending that a new treaty may be concluded with the Raja of Queda particularly for the possession of a narrow strip of land on the sea coast and for the command of entrance of the River Prye .
