Extract from a letter dated the 23rd August from the Resident at Colombo(Ceylon Stating) that he will send ten candies of coir and fifity bales of cinnamon either to Fort St. George or to be Bengal reporting that he is unable to supply some months and submetting his observations on the prospects of ecultvating them on an extensive scale.
