Letter from Mr.J.Gilchrist to Mr.G.H. Barlow, Secretary, requesting that the price of 300 copies of his Dictionery which Government has subscribed for may be paid at rupees 60 per copy instead of at rupees 50 asking for an advance, soliciting patronage to his other new work the Oriental Linguist, period at rupees 32 per copy, requesting that the latter work may be carried to the subscribers free of postage and that it be recommended to the Companys servants, and praying that the copies of his works which will remain in his hands when departing from india may be subscribed for by Government.
