Letter from Mr. William Larkins Accountant-General , enclosing a report of such accounts as are wanting to complete the monthly correction of the unappropriate balance of the estimate of the probable resources and disburesemetns of this Government of the 1st January 1780 pointing out that if some of the offices were to send in their accounts regularly he would be enabled to lay before the Board regular monhly statements containing accurate information of a true state of their resources and disbrusements proving how such statements would be of the greatest importance in the despatch of public business and advising the Board that if they are at all anxious to be furnished with such statements they should insist on the different offices transmiting their accounts by the periods prescribed in the regulations.
