Letter from Samual Touchet, intimating that all the salt provisions for Fort St. George are ready, requesting to be paid sicca rupees 60,000 as the second payment, due for these provisions, offering 1,000 tierces more of salt provisions at the same rates, and asking the Board to allow him rupees 20 per tierce, in lieu of frieght, commission, duties and storage.
