Letter from Mr. Joseph Sherburue, requesting permission to pay into the treasury andy sums on Capt. Coxon`s behalf for his certificates, and to be granted receipts for the same ; also requesting that the receipts may be sent to Capt. Coxon at Madras, to be there delivered by him into the treasury, with such sums as will make up the whole amount of his certificates, representing the pecuniary disadvantages Capt. Coxon has suffered by being detained at the Coromandel Coast, and requesting, in consequence, that Capt. Coxon may be recommended for an increased remittance by certificate, and and exemption from the usual duties on imports in the nest despatches home.
