Draft of a letter to the Board of Trade, asking for certain inforamtion for fixing the utimate destination of the Companys chartered ships then in the river, enclosing a copy of a letter from Capt.Scott of the Hawke, intimating that he was obliged by the enemy to run his ships into the Subtermookhy river, desiring them to direct their Warehouse-keeper to co-operate with mr. John Llyod in unloading that ship, requesting them to despatch 5,000 bags of saltpotre to Fort St. George acquainting them with the Boards resolution to despatch certain ships laden with rice to Bombay, and giving orders respecting the despatch of saltpetre by the same ships.
